Printed scaffolding banners, made to your size
A scaffold is free advertising space that most builders never use. A printed scaffolding banner puts your company name, the development name or a render of the finished building in front of every person who walks past, for the whole length of the contract. It is one of the cheapest pieces of outdoor advertising you can buy, because you are already paying for the frame.
Enter the width and height you need and the price updates as you type. There are no fixed sizes to work around, so you can match the banner to the lift you are covering rather than the other way round.
Why scaffold banners are printed on mesh
A solid banner on a scaffold behaves like a sail. Put a few up the side of a building and every gust is loading the structure, which is why site managers and scaffolders ask for mesh. Our scaffold banners are printed on perforated mesh, so air passes straight through the material. You keep the branding and lose most of the wind load.
It is also why a mesh banner tends to survive a winter outdoors when a solid one does not. Less force on the fixings means fewer torn eyelets and fewer trips out to re-tie a corner.
Choose your material
PVC mesh, 270gsm
The heavier of the two and the usual choice for construction. PVC through and through, weatherproof, UV stable and made to stay out for the length of a build. Pick this one for scaffold wraps, hoarding lines and anything that has to look the same in month nine as it did on day one.
Poly mesh, 125gsm
Polyester, roughly half the weight, and easier to handle on a long run or a repeat install. Pick this one for shorter jobs, events, sponsor runs and anywhere the banner comes down and goes back up again. It is also the lighter load if you are fixing to something less substantial than a scaffold.
Both materials are the same price. If you are not sure which you need, ask us and we will tell you what we would use.
Where these get used
Scaffold wraps and building elevations
Full or partial wraps carrying the developer, the main contractor or a render of the finished scheme. On a residential development this is often the first thing a buyer sees.
Site hoarding and perimeter fencing
Screen the works, tidy the frontage and put your branding where the public actually walks. Long runs are straightforward because the material is light for its strength and fixes with cable ties.
Debris netting and screen printing
Where you already have netting or screening up, a printed mesh panel drops into the same fixings and turns a plain green screen into something that sells work.
Sponsor and event runs
Pitch perimeters, finish lines and temporary fence lines, where a solid banner would flap, lift or pull a fence over in a gust.

Getting the artwork right
Keep it simple. A scaffold banner is read from across a road, often at an angle and often at speed, so one strong logo, one line of text and a phone number will out-perform a busy layout every time. Leave a clear margin around the edges so nothing important sits where a cable tie or a scaffold tube crosses the banner.
Send us your logo and we will send back a free visual mockup, usually within minutes during business hours. Unlimited revisions, and nothing goes to print until you have approved it.
Production is 7 to 10 working days from the point you approve the artwork. Working to a fixed date? Tell us the date up front and we will tell you honestly whether we can hit it.
Frequently asked questions
What size should a scaffolding banner be?
Measure the run you want to cover and order that size. Most people match the banner to a scaffold lift or a bay width so it fixes cleanly to the standards and ledgers rather than spanning awkwardly across them.
Will a scaffold banner blow down?
Not if it is mesh and it is fixed properly. The perforations let wind through instead of catching it. Fix through every eyelet rather than every other one, and use cable ties or bungees rather than rope.
What is the difference between PVC mesh and poly mesh?
PVC mesh is 270gsm and made from PVC, so it is heavier and harder wearing, which suits long construction jobs. Poly mesh is 125gsm polyester, lighter and easier to put up and take down, which suits shorter jobs and repeat use. Both are printed full colour and both cost the same.
Do you print scaffold banners to any size?
Yes. Enter your width and height in metres and the price calculates from your measurements. If you need something larger than a single panel we will split it across panels and tell you where the joins fall.
Can you design the banner for me?
Yes, and it is free. Send your logo and a rough idea of what you want it to say and we will send a mockup back for approval.
How do I fix a scaffolding banner to the frame?
Through the eyelets with cable ties or bungee cords, pulled taut but not stretched. Fix the top edge first, then the bottom, then the sides. If the banner is drum tight it will strain the eyelets in the wind, so leave it firm rather than rigid.
Need something different? We also print PVC mesh banners and poly mesh banners for fencing and events, and heras fence banners for temporary fence lines.
